Microsoft Developers are working hard to bring more features into the app so that you can manage your phone right from the desktop while working. Recently, Microsoft added useful features to Message using which users can easily copy text from image which either you have received or sent. Microsoft is using OCR technology to extract text from the photo. Here’s how it works To copy text from the images, you need to right-click on the image and then from the menu select ‘text from picture’ option. Doing this will scan all the text in the picture and copy it to the clipboard. You can paste it where ever you want. The feature was first teased by Roberto Bojorquez, Product Manager of Your Phone app at Microsoft on Twitter, but at that time feature was only available for users who have enrolled in Windows Insider Program. The feature is useful for those users who still use MMS functionality. What are your thoughts about “Your Phone” ability to extract text from picture? Let us know in the comments.
